Penicillin found in Grahams Family Dairy milk Grahams Family Dairy is recalling its Semi-Skimmed Milk after veterinary medicines, including penicillin, were found in the product. The recall affects all one pint, one litre and two litre bottles with a best before date of 31 July 2026. Several major supermarkets stock this product, including Asda and Morrisons. Those with an allergy to antibiotics, including penicillin, are at particular risk, though the product is considered unsafe for everyone to drink. In a statement, Grahams Family Dairy said: "This is a precautionary measure we have taken as there is a small risk a trace level of antibiotics may be present in the milk which could cause a reaction to consumers with an allergy to antibiotics. We apologise for this issue and would like to reassure our customers no other Grahams Family Dairies products or Use By Dates are affected." If you have purchased this product, do not drink it. Metal and plastic found in Waitrose Waitrose has recalled its Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls after it emerged the product may contain pieces of hard plastic and metal, making it unsafe to eat. The recall affects the eight-roll pack with batch code B26177 and a best before date of 26 July 2026. Customers who have purchased this product are urged not to eat it. Waitrose is asking shoppers to package the product up and return it to their nearest Waitrose & Partners branch for a full refund. Chocolate sweets with undeclared milk and soya allergens Bon Bons Wholesale Ltd is recalling a range of chocolate products after it was found they contain milk and soya that are not declared on the label. This poses a serious health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or soya.
