Meghan shared two videos to her Instagram Stories showing how she and her husband Prince Harry were spending a slow morning in their Montecito home to kick off the day. The first video showed Meghan dancing around her kitchen, while ‘Happy Birthday’ played in the background. Dancing barefoot around a huge display of balloons that rested on the kitchen counter, Meghan was casually dressed in white pyjama trousers and an oversized T-shirt that read: “It’s giving Mrs.” Her hair was pulled on top of her head as she donned a ‘Happy Birthday’ tiara. It is believed Harry was filming the video, as he could be heard in the background saying “Oh dear” and his wife danced around with a beaming smile on her face. The camera then panned to their stovetop, with a spread of bagels and fresh ingredients laid out for a family breakfast, while bacon sizzled in a frying pan. In a second video, Harry and Meghan attempted to get their two dogs - beagle Mia and Labrador Pula - to wear party hats. Both dogs appeared to try and wriggle away from the hats, with Meghan then saying from behind the camera: “Okay we’ll take them off now.” The video drew mixed reviews from royal fans online, with many calling the candid view ‘cringe’ and ‘embarrassing’, while a fan of Meghan’s countered: “Look at the Duchess living a carefree, unbothered, unburdened life. She is simply grateful to see another year. We enjoy her joy!” The video came after Meghan shared two never-before-seen black and white photos on her Instagram showing her celebrating her birthday by jumping into a pool. One photo shows her in a black swimsuit and sunglasses clutching a bunch of balloons, including some that say 'happy birthday', while jumping into the water. The second shows Meghan making a splash in the water, while still hanging on to the balloons. With the snaps, she writes: "Thank you for the birthday love!" followed by a balloon emoji. The first image shows Meghan smiling in a garden, wearing white jeans and blue and white striped shirt, holding a glass mug of tea. They also included a photo of Meghan as a child, with the caption reading: “Happy birthday to our founder Meghan. Lighting No. 084 to celebrate!” The message is in reference to the scented candle, available to buy on the As Ever website for £48, which is named after Meghan’s August birthdate. It is believed the Sussex family enjoyed Meghan’s birthday with a lowkey celebration at home, as a source close to Meghan told Hello! Magazine that the Duchess wanted to enjoy “a chilled day surrounded by loved ones” for her 45th birthday, adding that once the celebrations are over, she will jump straight back into work.
