Key Events The number of error reports submitted by Spotify users has started going down significantly as of 6pm, according to Downdetector. This suggests customers have started to regain full access to their Spotify accounts. In response to a user reporting "every day there's a problem" with their Spotify web player, the streaming service's support team asked them to reload their browser. The advice read: "Sorry to hear the web player isn’t working smoothly. Could you try reloading your browser and checking if it works in a private window? Then log back into your account." But the user quickly responded: "Didn’t work. It’s down. Fix it." People are reporting Spotify's web version is affected by the outage. Some users get a "Something went wrong. Try reloading the page." message when trying to access open.spotify.com. Downdetector has received hundreds of reports of issues with Spotify from the UK since the problems started at around 3pm. They peaked with 282 reports at 4.42pm. Of the reports, 71% were related to the website. Kim Sharp said on the website: "It says error when trying to load on both website and app."
