The closure of the B&M stores in Carmarthen store on Hall Street will shut on Saturday, August 15, while the store is in Sunderland will close on Sunday, August 16. The Carmarthen branch move to a new location opening one week later in a former B&Q unit on Glanyrafon Road. This new site will be one of the largest retail spaces in town as the brand aims for a "bigger and better B&M experience'" for shoppers, The Sun reports. The temporary closure of the Sunderland outlet at Riverside Retail Park will allow for the final phase of a revamp to be completed. The store will reopen on Saturday, August 22. It forms part of several recent store upgrades, including B&M branches in Pentwyn, Stockport and Leicester. Earlier this year, B&M launched new stores in Norfolk, Hertfordshire and Devon. A new mega-store in Stirling is expected to open before the end of the year.
