Four rushed to hospital after tourist bus carrying 34 overturns in horror crash in Norway The bus was said to be carrying 34 tourists when it came off the road Multiple people have been injured after a bus carrying dozens of tourists suddenly swerved and crashed into ditch in Norway. The vehicle was travelling in central Norway in the Trøndelag region when it flipped on a bend on the E6 highway, in Namdalen, according to local reports. It seemingly swerved and veered to the right before running off the road into a grassy verge. Public broadcaster NRK said 34 Germans were on the bus when the horror crash unfolded on Saturday morning, with several reportedly injured. Emergency services scrambled to the scene where four people were taken to hospital. Two were rushed to Namsos and another two to Levanger where the highest level of alert was reportedly sounded, to bring extra personnel in, The Sun reports. Horrifying images of the scene show the bus lay on its side in the ditch by the side of the road with its doors stuck shut and windscreen partially damaged. Dashcam footage also appears to have captured the moment the bus suddenly teetered over the edge of the road before flipping over into the ditch. Operations manager Siv Mamork said no one was trapped inside the bus. A lane was also closed on the road as crews cleared the wreckage.
