Malaysia’s Anwar Loses Third Lawmaker This Year in Party Exodus Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim lost a third lawmaker from his People’s Justice Party after long-time parliamentarian Wong Chen resigned from his seat of Subang in the country’s Selangor state effective Monday. Wong’s resignation makes him the third member of parliament from PKR, as the party is known, to resign from their constituency this year. Anwar’s former cabinet members Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ramli both vacated their seats in Pandan and Setiawangsa in May, and went on to form their own party, Bersama.
