Woman, 23, found dead in north London as six arrested on suspicion of murder Enquiries are ongoing to trace the woman’s next-of kin - Bookmark A murder investigation has been launched after a 23-year-old woman was found dead in a property in Islington, north London. Police were called at 09.33 am on Thursday 6 August following concerns for the welfare of a woman at a residential address on Bollinder Place, Islington. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found the woman unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene, the Metropolitan Police said. At the scene, officers arrested four women, aged 20, 21, 23 and 26, and two men, aged 21 and 24, on suspicion of murder. They have all since been released on bail while enquiries continue. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the woman’s next-of kin. Chief superintendent Jason Stewart said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the young woman who has lost her life. "We understand that news of an incident like this will cause concern within the local community. Local officers will continue to be visible in the area and are available to speak with residents who have questions or concerns. "While enquiries remain ongoing, information available to us at this stage indicates this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public." More follows on this breaking news story.
