Acquired in a trade with the New York Jets last season, Williams had 1.5 sacks and nine quarterback hits in seven games for the Cowboys.
The four-time Pro Bowl selection has 41.5 sacks in seven NFL seasons. He was a first-team All-Pro in 2022 when he posted a career-best 12 sacks for the Jets.
