Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend has shared a glimpse into her new life in Mauritius, after she relocated to the island with her husband and three children.
Chelsy Davy dated the Duke of Sussex on and off for seven years after their romance began in 2004, before she eventually found love with hotelier Sam Cutmore-Scott.
The former lawyer turned jewellery company founder has posted a video to her Instagram account in which she showed a ‘day in her life’, in which she takes a morning stroll along the beach, takes her children to school and runs a photoshoot for her jewellery brand Aya.
Chelsy also shared a photo of her son Leo, four, and daughter, Chloe, two, running along a pontoon towards the glistening blue sea.
The island of Mauritius holds special memories for Chelsy, as she has been visiting annually with her family since the age of four. The jewellery designer and her husband tied the knot during a relaxed beach wedding in Mauritius in 2022, and last December made the decision to relocate to the tropical island '(semi) full time'.
Their move to Mauritius, an island nation in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar, came just months before the couple welcomed their third child, a baby boy named Finn, in March this year.
Chelsy announced the new arrival on Mother’s Day, as she took to Instagram to post a series of snaps of the newborn alongside her other two children. She wrote: "This year feels especially meaningful for me as we welcome our little boy, Finn, who arrived last week."
She continued: "Returning to those hazy newborn days has been a beautiful reminder of just how remarkable mothers are - and of the many ways we each balance family, work and everything in between.
"Running Aya alongside raising Finn, Chloe and Leo is a juggle, but it’s one I’ve chosen. And one of the wonderful things about the world we live in today is that many of us have that freedom - to shape our lives in the way that feels right, whether that includes motherhood, a career, creativity, or something entirely different.
Chelsy is one of Harry's most well-known former girlfriends, with the pair's on-off romance lasting from 2004 to 2011. The couple met when Zimbabwean-born Chelsy was a boarder at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, and she later studied law at Leeds University.
Chelsy was pictured at many high-profile events with Harry, from polo matches to society weddings - and even met King Charles and the late Queen.
However, it is said she struggled to deal with the royal spotlight, and it was the Prince and Princess of Wales’ extravagant 2011 wedding that proved to her once and for all that she was not destined for a life in the royal spotlight.
Despite their relationship not standing the test of time, it is believed Harry and Chelsy remained friends, as she was seen attending Harry and Meghan’s wedding at Windsor in 2018. She also attended the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank the same year.
