Two-year-old airlifted to hospital after Clacton hit-and-run as police hunt e-bike rider Police are urgently appealing for information after a two-year-old child was left seriously injured in a collision with an electric bike in Clacton, Essex A two-year-old child has been left seriously injured after a collision involving an electric bike in Clacton. Police are urgently appealing for information about the rider who failed to stop at the scene and was described as wearing a grey hoodie top and a balaclava. Officers were called to the scene on Pathfields Road at around 9pm on Thursday, August 13. The child sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance. Essex Police say the electric bike involved in the collision is described as having a scrambler design with red handlebars.
