The tribute will be paid on the day of Zhu’s cremation, in accordance with a notice issued by state news agency Xinhua. It said that the national flag would also be flown at half-staff at various sites across the country, including Tiananmen Square, Xinhua Gate, the Great Hall of the People and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing.
