A corporate-bond sale dubbed “Project Odyssey” may be increased to $3.9 billion as junk-like yields on the Microsoft Corp.-linked data-center financing drew more than twice that amount in demand.
The bond is being sold through subsidiaries of Blackstone-backed QTS Realty Trust LLC to help bankroll a venture in Georgia, according to people with knowledge of the matter. After several days of marketing, demand topped $8 billion, paving the way to boost the deal size by about $1 billion, the people added, asking not to be identified discussing a private matter.
