The one-off Defender was restored from the chassis up for the Gone in 60 Seconds star. It includes a plaque featuring his famous "It's been emotional" quote from the 1998 crime film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Iconic Auctioneers said the vehicle combines the familiar Land Rover design with modern mechanical components and highly individual detailing. Built from a 1995 Defender 110, the car was fully restored with a rebuilt BMW 4.6-litre V8 engine, six-speed automatic gearbox and Bilstein suspension. Finished in Corris Grey Metallic, it has bespoke exterior detailing and a luxury interior with quilted Nappa leather, Härkila tweed trim and rear entertainment. The Land Rover has covered only 1,584 miles since completion and is offered with the registration ‘G25 GUN’. The car will be offered at Iconic Auctioneers’ Classic Sale at CarFest, Silverstone on August 29 with an estimate of £100,000 to £150,000. Rob Hubbard, managing director and principal auctioneer at Iconic Auctioneers, said: “This is a hugely individual Defender, with an interesting ownership story and a specification that reflects the level of thought and craftsmanship that has gone into the build. Our Classic Sales bring together cars for enthusiasts and collectors across a wide range of values, and this one-off Land Rover is a fine example of the quality and variety we aim to offer.” On the Squire Editions website, it says: "This beautiful Landrover Defender was created for Vinnie Jones by Squire Edition and cost considerably more than the price quoted today. "Described by Vinnie on TV last week as “one of the very best Landrovers in the country, if not the world” it really does need to be seen to be believed. The car has a completely re-built BMW 4.6is V8 engine fitted along with a BMW 8-speed automatic gearbox." The Iconic Auctioneers website says: "A one-of-one 1995 Land Rover Defender 110 commissioned by actor and footballer Vinnie Jones will be offered by Iconic Auctioneers at its Classic Sale at CarFest, taking place at The Wing at Silverstone Circuit on 29 and 30 August. Built for Jones by Squire Editions and completed in 2024, the extensively reworked Defender is estimated at £100,000 to £150,000. "Built from a 1995 Defender 110, the car was comprehensively restored from the chassis up, combining the familiar Land Rover design with modern mechanical components and highly individual detailing. "Power comes from a rebuilt BMW 4.6is V8 engine paired with a BMW ZF six-speed automatic transmission, while Bilstein suspension and a stainless-steel twin side-exit exhaust indicate that this is no ordinary Defender. "Finished in Corris Grey Metallic, it features Satin Black checker plating, side steps and rear tailgate hinges, Gloss Black extended wheel arches and a Billet Aluminium Pack. Inside, quilted Nappa leather is combined with Härkila tweed trim and a black suede headlining, with a three-seat rear configuration and integrated rear entertainment system. "The Defender has covered minimal mileage since completion and is offered with the registration number, ‘G25 GUN’."
