Johnny Fisher's opponent confirmed as Michael Pirotton ahead of return of 'The Romford Bull' on Sky Sports Johnny Fisher returns against Belgian opponent Michael Pirotton at The Copper Box Arena on September 26, live on Sky Sports, Fisher has vowed to deliver an explosive victory; Craig Richards faces Radivoje "Hot Rod" Kalajdzic and Lee Cutler collides with Louie Greene on the undercard Wednesday 19 August 2026 15:31, UK Johnny Fisher's opponent has been confirmed as Michael Pirotton ahead of the eagerly awaited return of the 'Romford Bull' next month. The British heavyweight (14-1, 12 KOs) makes his Zuffa Boxing debut against Belgium's Pirotton in the 10-round main event, live on Sky Sports on Saturday, September 26. Fisher ended the year with a stoppage win over Ivan Balaz in December, putting his career back on track after a rematch loss to David Allen in May. - Latest boxing headlines, reports, highlights and interviews - Boxing in 2026: Key dates, results and upcoming schedule - Get Sky Sports or stream boxing and more with no contract Pirotton (12-2, 6 KOs) lies in wait next, with Fisher telling Sky Sports: "I'm excited, but I'm also driven and determined. "The next fight is always the hardest fight, and everyone I fight is a dangerous opponent because they're getting onto this show with Sky Sports, Zufa, with the Romford Bull Army there. "It's a golden ticket for Michael Pirotton, but it's also my golden ticket because if I win, I get to go on to bigger and better things. I've got ambitions in this game." Pirotton made his professional debut in 2019 and won his first 10 fights. After dropping a pair of decisions to unbeaten foes in 2025, he rebounded this year with two stoppage victories. He has never previously been knocked down, but Fisher is hoping to change that. "You want to get the knockout, you want to get the stoppage, but I've always said from the beginning of my career, I've got to win by whatever cost - the win is the most important thing." he said. "But with my power, my strength, my explosivity, of course I can draw a knockout or draw a stoppage. "Once I get someone hurt, I know I can finish them. I can smell when someone's feeling it or in trouble. Fisher added: "I'm very very excited to show people what I can do. You haven't seen the best version of the Romford Bull yet. We're going to try and show that on September 26." Fisher vs. Pirotton tops a bill that also features a 10-round light heavyweight co-main event between Craig "Spider" Richards, Radivoje "Hot Rod" Kalajdzic, and British middleweights Lee Cutler (16-2, 8 KOs) and Louis Greene (19-4, 12 KOs) squaring off in a 10-rounder. Welterweight Alex MacMillan (4-0, 3 KOs) and light heavyweight Leon Hughes (5-0, 4 KOs) will see action in separate six-rounders, while lightweights Kayla Allen and Fred Pullen will make their respective professional debuts.
