The grieving sister of a man who was found dead at a car park in Cornwall says the discovery has "broken their family," and that they will "never recover" from their loss.
The body of Ben Gough, 41, was discovered after emergency services were called to Moorfield Car Park in Calenick Street, Truro, at around 10.45am on Monday, August 17.
Devon and Cornwall Police are probing the "unexplained" death with significant enquiries ongoing to establish what happened.
The force said a 44-year-old man from Truro was arrested on assault, grievous bodily harm, administering a noxious substance, and theft.
Ben's sister, Leanne Gough, said their family has "nothing but love" for him, reports Cornwall Live. "Ben was loved by all of his family more than he can ever imagine," she said.
"Losing him has broken our family and we will never recover from this. People may have certain views on Ben but his family know the real Ben and he had nothing but love in him".
Multiple others have taken to social media to pay tribute to Ben, who one friend said "always had a smile" on his face.
"Fly high Ben, thinking of your family, children and true friends! You always had a smile on your face when I saw you," Amanda wrote.
Melissa said: "So sad for you Ben you will be missed absolutely gutted for your family and your true friends R.I.P buddy xxx".
Kirsten added: "RIP thanks for always bigging my son up. You were like a brother to him xx." Mark said: "Rip terrible tragedy thoughts are with his family".
Steven also commented: "That is so sad my thoughts [are with] him and his family. R. I. P."
Katie said: "So upset even writing this!! I generally am heartbroken. Can't believe this is true, can't believe you're gone!! I was only talking to you early Sunday morning!!
"You have been one of my closest besties for many many years!! Will be missed always - love you always!!".
