A Perth man has appeared in court accused of threatening to kill One Nation leader Pauline Hanson.
Anton Raymond Illich, 47, is accused of making three Facebook posts, including on a One Nation members and supporters page.
In one of the posts, Mr Illich said he would "hunt her down and kill her", a Perth court has heard.
The 47-year-old was charged in July with two counts of using a carriage service to make a threat, but it was only revealed today in court Ms Hanson was the subject of the threats.
Mr Illich, who was representing himself, admitted it was "stupid, crazy" and told the court he did it because he wanted to shut down his Facebook account.
He said he had no intent and he was "never a direct threat".
Mr Illich indicated he wanted to plead guilty, but the court heard that the matter is likely to go to a higher court.
The magistrate ordered that he cannot contact Ms Hanson.
The Australian Federal Police said in July it had started an investigation after receiving notification of an alleged online threat to kill a federal parliamentarian.
The identities of the accused and the parliamentarian were not revealed at the time.
The maximum penalty for the offence is ten years in prison.
Mr Illich, who's on bail, is scheduled to appear in the magistrates court again in October.
Ms Hanson travelled to Western Australia last month for a business breakfast, and also held a fundraiser at a pub in Midland in June, which saw dozens of protesters line the surrounding streets.
