KURUKSHETRA: A woman allegedly murdered her 40-year-old husband at a house near Raj Palace on Pehowa Road in Kurukshetra on Saturday by repeatedly attacking him with knives, leaving his abdomen severely mutilated.
The deceased, identified as Rajesh, a native of Dhampur village in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district, had been living in Kurukshetra with his wife, Vimla Devi, for about a year.
He worked as a water supplier for a water trading company on Pehowa Road in the Kurukshetra University (KU) police station area.
The extent of the injuries came to light during the post-mortem examination
According to available information, Rajesh's abdomen had been cut open by about 35 cm, with injuries so deep that his intestines had protruded from his body.
The post-mortem reportedly also found that a substantial portion of his liver and his right kidney were missing.
