Used condominium prices in central Tokyo fell for the third straight month in July, suggesting to some experts that the market is in a correction stage after a period of record gains.
The average price in the Japanese capital’s six central districts known as wards was ¥181.95 million ($1.15 million), a decrease of 1.7% from June, Tokyo Kantei Co. wrote in a report published Monday. The pace of decline accelerated from 1.3% in June, data from the Japanese real estate research firm show. Prices were adjusted to represent 70 square meter units.
