President Trump appeared to drift off to sleep while making an address at the Rose Garden on Monday (August 24).
The US President looked as if he shut his eyes after speaking about "expanding school choice".
A short clip of Trump shared on X appears to show the leader doze off, with the caption: “Ok guys, I think Trump nodded off here at the Rose Garden.”
It is not the first time Trump has been accused of snoozing at an important event, as several times during his second term as president there has been concerns about his health due to hit 'tiredness'.
In April, Trump was in attendance for changes being announced to child vaccination policies, and clips showed him falling asleep midway through the briefing.
On several occasions, critics have noticed the President's eyes shut during meetings.
The US President also supposedly fell asleep at a 'Making Health Technology Great Again' event at the White House last summer, and more recently, at a cabinet meeting.
The 80-year-old has faced increasing health fears recently, due to public missteps alongside visible marks and bruising.
Over the last year, it has been claimed that Trump has fallen asleep in public at least 14 times, adding to the concerns about his well-being.
CNN panelist recently critiqued Trump for "sleeping through literally every meeting."
She declared, "He [Trump] said that gas prices are fine; that's actually not true that he's 'focused on the gas prices.' He sleeps through literally every meeting. We see it in real time."
