Awarapan 2 day 11: Emraan Hashmi film nears Rs 140cr India net, earns 202% profit

Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 has turned into one of the biggest Bollywood success stories of 2026, with the sequel not only living up to the legacy of its predecessor but also emerging as a strong crowd favourite. The momentum carried into the second weekend as well, keeping the film’s box office performance steady. On Day 8, Awarapan 2 collected Rs. 5.75 crore net in India from 9,858 shows. It collected Rs 8.25 crore and Rs 9 crore on day 9 and day 10 which is the second Saturday and Sunday. On second Monday which is day 11, ‘Awarapan 2’ recorded a net collection of Rs 2.75 Cr from 11,344 shows. With this latest addition, the film’s total India gross has reached Rs 165.75 Cr, while its overall India net collection now stands at Rs 139.00 Cr. The film’s impressive run has also resulted in a significant milestone for Emraan Hashmi. Awarapan 2 has now surpassed the profit percentage achieved by his first superhit, Murder. The 2004 erotic thriller had registered a profit of 200%, whereas the sequel has reportedly delivered an estimated profit of nearly 215% in just 10 days. At the same time, Awarapan 2 has moved further up the list of Bollywood’s highest-grossing films of 2026. The film has overtaken Welcome To The Jungle, which finished with Rs. 137.93 crore, making the Nitin Kakkar directorial the fifth-highest-grossing Bollywood release of the year. Its next target is Dhamaal 4. If the current trend continues, Awarapan 2 could cross the Ajay Devgn-led comedy’s lifetime collection as early as its second week. For Hashmi, the film has become a major box office comeback, while the sequel’s strong word-of-mouth has helped it outperform expectations and sustain its theatrical run. The film features Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles alongside Hashmi.
