Liverpool's new third kit designed to shine on European nights

It is intended to capture the visual effect and sense of motion created by the sea of flags that are regularly waved in unison by Reds supporters during midweek games. The abstract graphic takes the form of a large grid with rings and other geometric shards superimposed over the top. The detailing -- including the various badges, crests, logos and shoulder stripes -- has then been added in metallic matte silver, which is designed to reflect light and glint under the high-wattage LED floodlights used at all major stadiums these days.
