Major League Wrestling (MLW) has been in the rumor mill as a potential destination for a couple of well-known pro wrestlers as the company’s prestige grows within the industry.
MLW founder Court Bauer said on "Who’s the Champ" earlier this month that the company was in talks about bringing in Tessa Blanchard, who currently competes in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).

Meanwhile, Fightful Select reported this month that MLW and former WWE star Aleister Black had "preliminary contact" but he remains a free agent as of now.

"I mean, if you look at our talent roster right now, I would put it up there against anyone's, any company," he said. "If you like big men, we've got big men. If you like Lucha Libre and more of a cruiserweight style, we've got that. If you like technical wrestling and pro wrestling, we got that. We've got talented women. We've got a tag division. We've got Contra, which brings a whole different flavor to the show. We’ve got something for everybody. We've got some big names. "Our distribution right now, every Saturday night you can watch us on a number of platforms, whether it's on our YouTube, whether it's on Veeps, beIN Sports. Now on Mondays, we're on New Japan World. So, we're accessible. We’re also family friendly. If you want to bring a family of four to our live events, you're not going to have to remortgage your house to get there. So, I think right now MLW is doing a lot of the right things and I think with that, you see talent is drawn to that and willing to have the conversations about coming in and doing something."
MLW airs "Fusion" on Saturday nights on the programs Aries mentioned above.
