Weekend Winners: 14/1 ante-post Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe tip & 11/4 Leger pick Bay City Roller looks to be heading to France for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on October 4, live on Sky Sports Racing; Joseph O'Brien looks set to send Enceladus to the Leger at Doncaster on September 12 Friday 28 August 2026 11:04, UK With the flat season building to an exciting crescendo, the Weekend Winners team have taken a look at some ante-post fancies for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the Leger and the Ayr Gold Cup. The long-awaited arrival of rain should add plenty of intrigue for form studiers as attention turns to Doncaster's Classic in September and then to Paris for the Arc in early October. Host Kate Tracey was joined by regular sidekicks Declan Rix and Sam Boswell as they looked for some long-range fancies. - Doyle: Tenability can strike in Windsor feature - Dual Gold Cup hero Galopin Des Champs retired from racing Attheraces.com's Declan Rix… "I have been waiting to see what George Scott was doing to do with Bay City Roller and reports are he is Paris-bound for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. I think he is an interesting runner with the weather maybe turning and he relishes these conditions. "His form has just been getting better with each run and he was a runaway winner of the Coronation Cup. He's one of a few runners in the Arc that has been given a quiet prep and I think he is a massive price." Host Kate Tracey… "I'm going to the St Leger for mine and plenty of the runners have been diverted away from the race, but my horse Enceladus has been signposted for this race since winning at Goodwood when winning a Group Three over a mile and half. "His Royal Ascot form looks good with boosts from that race throughout the season so far. Everything about his form suggests the extended trip from what he has usually ran at will be a lot better than just a handicapper. "With queries with other runners in the race, I think this progressive runner will be a live contender who has similarities to Joseph O'Brien's previous St Leger winner Galileo Chrome." BetVictor's Sam Boswell… "I'm going to the Ayr Gold Cup for this ante-post selection this week and it's going to be Dance In The Storm for Andrew Balding. "He's a little bit younger than most Ayr Gold Cup winners but I think he is very unexposed and will handle the cut in the ground towards the end of the season. "He's guaranteed to get in having ran well this season and you look at his Chester run from the May meeting and he definitely has scope to improve more for these big fields and I think he is a good bet at this current stage."
