Running until 2 September, the festival features more than 2,000 artists and around 150 concerts, exhibitions, dance classes and milongas across 50 venues.
Sixty couples have reached the decisive stages, with 40 competing in Tango de Pista and 20 in Tango Escenario.
The World Championship finals will take place at the Teatro Gran Rex on 1 and 2 September.
