Patrol cars from across the city have been dispatched to Hamburg's Schanzenviertel district following the shooting and the scene has been cordoned off by police. A manhunt is underway around Lagerstrasse. Officers armed with submachine guns have secured the area. Emergency services, firefighters, and paramedics cannot yet enter the building, as there may still be armed perpetrators inside. The building houses the meat processing company "DELTA Fleisch Hamburg" and the boxing stable "Universum Boxing", according to reports. The premises being searched by police. One man was fatally injured in the complex, while the other died in the ambulance.
