It has been confirmed that Aldi's viral Lacura Sweet Angel Shower Gel (£1.99, 500ml) will be back in stores nationwide from Monday, September 14. Many people have compared the shower gel to Lush's popular seasonal Snow Fairy scent. Aldi says that the budget buy sends fans racing down the middle aisle to get their hands on the product whenever it returns to stores - and it expects 2026 to be no different. It adds that one member of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook said that the Lacura scent "smells exactly like [Lush's] Snow Fairy". Another person in the group claims they previously bought three bottles to last all season. One more put: "I love this one. Definitely the closest one to Lush!" Aldi says its £1.99 shower gel offers a saving on Lush's Snow Fairy, which retailed for £24 when it came out last year. The pink product is said to be "enriched with natural strawberry extract and moisturising ingredients". With Lush yet to announce this year’s return, as it usually comes out every year, Aldi has said that fans can get its own viral scent first for less. Customers should start seeing the item appear on sale in stores within a matter of days. The Sweet Angel bottles will sit alongside the Lacura Vanilla Shower Gel (also £1.99) - in stores until March 2027. Aldi claims that shoppers have compared this natural vanilla-scented product to Bath and Body Works’ Warm Vanilla Body Wash (normally £16 for 275ml). What else is new in Aldi? The budget supermarket has constantly updated stock thanks to its popular SpecialBuy aisle running through the centre of every UK store. Products rotate twice a week - with drops on Thursdays, followed by more on Sundays. Just ahead of the shower gel releases on Monday, the store will refresh its SpecialBuy selection on Sunday, September 13.
