Girl, 15, charged with murder after man 'pushed from moving train' and ran over Kyle Bickham was going home to Lansing from a shift at an Amazon warehouse in Cicero, Illinois, and was on a train passing through Chicago at the time of the incident A 15-year-old girl is accused of murder after a man was allegedly pushed out of a moving train before he was ran over by another. Kyle Bickham was on his way home from an overnight shift at an Amazon warehouse in Illinois when it is claimed he became involved in an altercation with three people. Police said a group then forcefully pushed Mr Bickham, 29, out of the moving train The man fell on the tracks and hit the electrified third rail, which incapacitated him, before he was hit by another train which killed him. His death has been ruled as homicide after he was pronounced dead at the scene. A 15-year-old girl has now been charged with a number of offences and police say she is one of the three people involved in the altercation with Mr Bickham. She is accused of first-degree murder, mob action, two counts of murder during another forcible felony and aggravated battery of a transit employee. The teenager, who cannot be named due to her age, appeared in juvenile court on Saturday after she was arrested on Friday. A judge found probable cause on all counts and ordered her to remain in custody. No other arrests have yet been made and the other suspects are asked to contact the police. Mr Bickham was travelling home to Lansing on September 7 after finishing a shift at an Amazon warehouse in Cicero, Illinois. The incident took place onboard a Chicago Transit Authority Red Line train near the 69th Street station in Chicago at around 2.30pm local time. His heartbroken family said they don't know what may have sparked the altercation and that they're not aware of any links Mr Bickham might have had to the perpetrators. His dad, Christopher Bickham Sr, said: "It's the most hurtful thing that has ever happened." His mother, Latanya Bickham, added: "There are a lot of questions that we have and we still have no answers. We need help, we need direction, and we need these people to turn themselves in." Mr Bickham had just moved into a new apartment days before his sudden death and was working hard to build a future for himself. His mother said: "He was just trying to make an honest day's living, and this is what happened." Mr Bickham was the youngest of four siblings and has been described as a caring and hardworking individual who loved making people laugh. His dad said: "He loved writing poetry. He loved us. He loved both of his nieces, his brothers, his sister; he just was an all-around caring guy." Mr Bickham's grandmother, Bertha Ford, also described him as "so kind". Officers initially believed the man had jumped from the moving train but investigators later established that he was pushed by three people during an altercation. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office determined that he died from multiple injuries and ruled his death a homicide. The investigation remains ongoing. A fundraiser has been launched by Mr Bickham's brother, Chris Bicham Jr, to cover funeral expenses. The page has so far raised more than $11,600 (£8,600) from 160 donations. The page, launched four days ago, reads: "Our hearts are completely broken. Kyle was a son, brother, uncle, family member, and friend who was loved by so many. "He was a light, goofy, kind, caring, and always able to bring laughter to those around him. His passing was sudden, and our family is asking for help giving Kyle the homegoing he deserves and sending him home to the Lord. "Anything helps, whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping our family in your prayers. Kyle was loved. Kyle mattered. His light will never be forgotten."
