Trending rumors
- Manchester United are in talks with midfielder Bruno Fernandes regarding a new contract, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports. United are believed to be keen to secure the 32-year-old to a new deal at Old Trafford following interest in the summer from Galatasaray as well as clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia, but negotiations are taking extra time as discussions continue over clauses and potential bonuses. Fernandes has started all six matches for Man United this season, scoring his fourth goal of the campaign in the 4-0 Champions League win over Sabah.
- Barcelona are preparing to offload left back Alejandro Balde, according to Diario Sport. It is reported that manager Hansi Flick plans to use both Xavi Espart and João Cancelo ahead of the 22-year-old, and the Blaugrana would be willing to accept offers in the region of €40 million if they receive a proposal in January. Balde, who made 28 La Liga appearances last season, has previously been linked with Manchester United, Liverpool, and Inter Milan.
- Atletico Madrid are challenging Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest in the race for Athletico Paranaense defender Arthur Dias, TEAMtalk reports. The 19-year-old is reportedly attracting interest from multiple clubs across Europe, which has increased following his call-up by manager Carlo Ancelotti to the Brazil senior national team. He remains contracted with the Brasileirao side until December 2028, but his club are ready to begin talks over a new contract to fend off interest in his signature.
- Bayern Munich aren't considering a move for Manchester City attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki, Bayern insider Christian Falk reports. It is said that the 23-year-old was never on the Bundesliga champions' shortlist despite reports indicating they were lining up an approach for him. They reportedly could explore the transfer market for a winger should they need to find a replacement for Serge Gnabry or if uncertainty grows over the future of Michael Olise, who is contracted at the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2029.
- Chelsea are weighing up a fresh approach for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, according to Football Insider. The Blues remain interested in the 22-year-old despite belief that they will need to repair their relationship with the Ligue 1 club, who cancelled his proposed switch to Stamford Bridge on deadline day. Xabi Alonso remains intent on strengthening in midfield following the departure of Enzo Fernández to Manchester City, but there could be competition in any future move for Camara amid links to Liverpool.
