Riley Green found himself in an unexpected situation during a recent show.
As the loyal OutKick readers know, Green is a true country music star, and his climb up the mountain only increases with everything he does.
One of the reasons why Green is so popular is that he comes off as incredibly authentic and down to Earth. That's about as rare as a unicorn sighting these days in the entertainment world.

Well, Green, once again, reminded people why he's such a cool dude while defusing a tense situation.
Green was performing in Albuquerque, New Mexico over the weekend when a fight in the crowd broke out during his show, according to Whiskey Riff.
"I was hoping I wouldn’t have to whoop nobody’s a** today…Hey, can I talk to you all for a second? If everybody’s okay, why don’t you just split up. You all go stand somewhere else. How can you fight during a love song? It’s way too early," Riley calmly said from the stage.
Eventually, overwhelming boos from the rest of the crowd directed at the people fighting, and then security arrived to handle it.
"You all just hold it together for a little while. We'll play for about 90 minutes and then we can all beat the sh** out of each other at the end of the night," the "Jesus Saves" singer joked after the situation had been resolved.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I will never understand people who spend their hard-earned money to attend an event, and then decide to get into a fight.
I guess they must have a lot more money than I do because it's 100% a pure waste. Security is going to toss you without a second of hesitation.

Green also handled the situation like an absolute pro. He did not escalate. The talented singer turned the temperature down and did so while cracking some jokes.
