Meghan is said to have been added to the group the night before her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet had their first day at a UK school. But alleged screenshots from the group, called Year 3, are believed to have been circulating online showing one mum saying: “Welcome to Meghan who has Archie joining tomo” while another says: “Welcome!!” Meghan then replies saying: “Hi moms! Thanks for the warm welcome (heart emoji). So happy to be a part of this community xx”. The leak was first reported by The Sun. Sources close to the Sussexes have said it was disappointing that such information has been shared. The Mirror has contacted Meghan’s spokesperson for comment. It comes just a day after it was revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan decided to 'reluctantly' remove their children from the school just two days into the term following security concerns. It is understood that unexpected heavy traffic on the route from where they were living to the school meant a 30-minute journey turned into an hour’s journey at rush hour. One incident is said to have raised concerns when the couple and their security’s vehicles found it difficult to remain in convoy during the school run. According to Hello!, the Sussexes’ bodyguards were not able to carry out a recce of the journey in term time, and only practised it during the quieter summer holidays. The children have now started at another school, where parents were just given 24 hours' notice that Harry and Meghan’s youngsters were joining. The couple were seen arriving yesterday morning in a convoy of two 4x4 cars with Archie, seven and Lilibet, five, to accompany them for their first day at the private village school. Parents described a flurry of text messages being sent to each other on Monday night following news emerging in the school community that Harry and Meghan's children were joining. One parent said a crowd saw the cars driving into the school grounds shortly after 8.15am, with security guards stepping out of the vehicles to open the doors for the family to exit. One mum told the Mirror: “The parents’ WhatsApp groups have been buzzing. It's all been very sudden and lots of people are talking about it. “On the main class group one of the parents wrote, ‘Please welcome Meghan and Archie to the group'. The school is very academic with a lovely close-knit village feel. All the parents talk to each other, so as long as they are friendly they'll fit right in.” It also comes as Harry has succeeded in forcing the Home Office to open a new review into his right to taxpayer funded security. As The Mirror revealed last month, the government department will now carry out a Risk Management Board hearing at his request after months of appeals from the Duke of Sussex. Harry has previously lost a case at the High Court and a subsequent hearing at the Court of Appeal, before he wrote directly to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood asking for a renewed assessment of his security situation. The prince and his wife Meghan arrived back in the UK last month for what sources close to the couple have described as an “extended stay”. One government source suggested “the goalposts have moved”. Harry, 42, was stripped of his right to security while in the UK when he and Meghan in 2020 decided to quit their royal roles and set up home in the United States. Since then, the duke has appealed to the British government to change its position, claiming he is still a target for terrorists and fixated individuals when in the UK.
