Authorities say she slammed her SUV into a city bus at about 5pm local time on Tuesday, killing bus passengers Gage Weida, 31, and Daniel Castillo, 46, and injuring six others. Around two hours later, an NBC Los Angeles helicopter that was reporting on the collision crashed in the Chatsworth neighbourhood, in downtown LA. Reporter Eliana Moreno, 38, and pilot George Marciniw, 70, were killed in the helicopter crash, along with a third person on the ground, identified as 29-year-old Edy Gutierrez Mejia.
