Her family have now issued a heartbreaking plea for help The family of a woman who plunged to her death in Bali have launched a desperate plea to bring their daughter home. Brianna Cronin, 29, from Australia was solo travelling when she plummeted from a cliff at the famous Kelingking Beach in Bali, Indonesia on Saturday, September 12. She spent her last minutes clinging to a sheer rock face before falling to her death. She was then spotted stranded on a ledge below the path by another tourist, unable to get back to the track and too high to descend to the beach. It is unclear if she was injured, but the tourist alerted one of the local lifeguards who monitor the rugged and treacherous beach below about 7.45am. Planning was underway to rescue Ms Cronin when she fell a second time. She hit the sand, suffering multiple fractures from the fall down the rocky cliff and sadly died at the scene. The rock formation resembles that of a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex and has become one of Bali's most recognisable landmarks. Ms Cronin's body remains in a Bali hospital as her family paid a heartbreaking tribute and launched a public appeal to help bring her home. In a video message posted on Facebook her loved ones said: "This is Brianna, our daughter, our sister. "She was bubbly, a little quirky, and a friend to everyone. And happiest out in nature. Brianna passed away in Bali, and right now she is so far from home. We need your help to bring her back to Australia so we can hold her close and say goodbye. "No family should have to grieve from the other side of the world. We just want our girl home." Repatriating a body from Bali to Australia can cost up to $20,000. Any funds left over will go towards her dream of building a solar-powered greenhouse. A message on the fundraising page read: "Our hearts are broken. Our kind, loving and beautiful daughter and sister, Brianna Lani Cronin, has passed away in Bali, and right now she is so far from the people who love her most.
