Police have stepped up an urgent hunt to find a 10-year-old boy who vanished two days ago with officers saying they are becoming "increasingly concerned".
Dougie is missing from Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire and was last seen on Tuesday evening. The schoolboy is described as being of short and stocky build, with dark brown hair. He also often wears gold jewellery.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has said it is becoming “increasingly concerned” for Dougie’s welfare.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
The force said in a statement: “Thank you to everyone who has shared Dougie’s appeal.
“We understand people are concerned and want to help, particularly in light of recent events.
“Every missing person investigation is different and enquiries are tailored to the individual circumstances of each case.
“We remain focused on finding Dougie and are grateful for the public’s continued support.
