Man charged with murder after alleged assault in Tasmania's north

A 42-year-old man has been charged with murder after allegedly assaulting a man at a house in Tasmania's north. Tasmania Police said shortly after 8.30am on Thursday, emergency services attended a private residence following reports that a man had been assaulted at Railton, south of Devonport.
