Delays extended to 1pm The disruption to transport has been updated with disruption through East Croyden now expected to last until 1pm. Around 13,000 people use the Gatwick Express service every day, according to the railpro website. Passengers warned of delays Disruption is expected to last until 12:00, Gatwick Express reports. In a message to customers the company said: "If you are travelling through the East Croydon area, you can use your normal route, but please allow an extra 15 minutes to complete your journey. "Services running through the station are subject to delays of up to 15 minutes and may depart from different platforms than usual. "If you are boarding at East Croydon, please double-check station departure screens and listen for announcements before making your way to the platform."
