Six people were rushed to hospital after eight on board were assess by paramedics. Two women in their 20s were also seen to by paramedics, one of them after falling off the boat. Those injured have now been confirmed to be in stable condition. A man in his 20s suffered facial injuries and was taken in a stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital. A woman in her 20s with a head injury was taken in a stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital. Another woman in her 20s with shoulder and neck pain and a woman in her 20s with an arm injury was taken in a stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital. A man in his 30s with neck pain and a woman in her 20s with a shoulder injury was taken in a stable condition to Gold Coast Robina Hospital. Brisbane Times reports that no one else on board the boat was injured in the crash. A police spokesperson said the injuries were understood to be minor, such as nose bleeds and concussions.
