John Cena card from his final WrestleMania sells for record-breaking amount

John Cena is still making history after his pro wrestling career. A one-of-one patch autographed Topps Royalty WWE Cena card from WrestleMania 41 sold for a WWE record $329,400 last Saturday, according to Goldin's listing. It smashed the previous record for a WWE card sale held by one of fellow wrestling legend The Rock, which sold for $126,000 in 2023, according to the WWE. Cena won his record-setting 17th WWE championship at WrestleMania41 in April 2025, defeating Cody Rhodes in Las Vegas. It was released as the 2025 Topps Royalty WWE collection. Royalty is a high-end released that focuses on rare autographs and memorabilia. A Randy Orton Wrestlemania 41 one-of-one patch autograph from the collection sold for $42,100 earlier in May. Cena's card includes a patch on the front that he wore during his match, authenticated by Fanatics and WWE. An image of Cena holding the belt is included next to it with his autograph below it. The first bid was placed on Aug. 19 for $15,000, and the number reached six figures on Sept. 4. It already eclipsed the previous record when it went to $132,000 on Sept. 11. Ten days later, it went to its final total of $270,000 with a buyer's premium fee of 22% pushing it to $329,400. Cena's retirement tour became a must-watch for WWE fans and beyond. WrestleMania is often the biggest spectacle of the WWE calendar, and last year's marked Cena's first main event at the event since 2012. He put in a nearly 20-minute bout with Rhodes that ended with another championship and, now, a record card sale.
