Harry and Meghan issue 'totally unnecessary' warning to school parents about photographing Archie and Lilibet EXCLUSIVE: Parents visiting Archie and Lilibet's school have been sent letters of warning over photographing children, with one parent calling the measure 'complete overkill' Parents visiting the school where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have moved their children to have received warnings over taking photos of pupils. Guidance has been issued over the expected conduct of parents and care-givers of students at the village prep-school, after the Duchess of Sussex’s phone number was shared from a parents' WhatsApp chat. Parents at neighbouring schools, which play sport against each other, have been reminded to only take photos of their own children when supporting the team. In a letter sent to parents this week, one school stressed “the importance of only taking photos of your own children”. One parent told The Mirror : “It can't be a coincidence that these notices are going out now just after Harry and Meghan have moved their children into the local area. "It's complete overkill, everyone knows the boundaries, and could you imagine the uproar from other parents if someone was discovered purposely taking pictures of children that weren't theirs. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come because it's totally unnecessary.” Harry and Meghan last week moved their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, to a new school closer to their temporary home, citing security fears over a school 30 minutes away. The family moved back to the UK last last month after spending six years in the United States. However, their private security team did not do a recce of the first school which was located in the centre of Oxford. A source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said the city traffic left the family like "sitting ducks" when they got stuck between cars on the school run. The family’s security team advised on pulling the children out over fears of the heavy term-time traffic, having only tested the route during the summer holidays. Unexpected congestion on the route from where they are living to the school meant a 30-minute journey turned into an hour’s journey at rush hour. The children’s new school is just a short drive from their temporary home, avoiding built up areas. The Mirror is not identifying the schools or the family’s location. One parents at Archie and Lilibet’s new school described two 4x4 cars “rushing” down the country lane near to the school, before Harry and Meghan exited with their security team and children outside the school entrance on their first day. The parent said: “Everyone is very down to earth and normal here. We all help each other and help out whenever we can with school events. We would hope all new parents want to get involved and immerse themselves in school life and the wider community.” Prince Harry has shared his intense security fears for his family, taking the British government to court twice over the decision to strip him of taxpayer funded security. The prince was handed new hope of getting the government to foot the estimated £5million a year bill for his security when the Home Office confirmed it would carry out a new review into the threat against him and wife Meghan, following the family's return to the UK.
