We want to hear about your experience with Tricare medical coverage

Tricare promises to provide health benefits to millions of active-duty service members, veterans and their families. But in recent months, NBC News has uncovered a slew of complaints about the U.S. military’s healthcare program as part of our “Cost of Denial” series, which examines coverage refusals and other insurance-related problems. Many people who receive healthcare through Tricare say their issues began when the military switched the companies that administer the program at the start of 2025. After NBC News reported on one veteran whose claims were repeatedly denied, delaying crucial care after his cancer diagnosis, one of the contracted companies issued a public apology, and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton opened an investigation into denied claims. We are continuing to cover Tricare and want to hear about people’s experiences.
