Aldi launching home delivery with eight shops in first wave - full list A date has been set for a nationwide rollout of the UK-first service Aldi shoppers will be able to get their groceries delivered for the first time thanks to a new partnership. Britain’s biggest discounter is partnering with Deliveroo to enable shoppers to order Aldi products via the Deliveroo app. Modelled on Aldi’s successful partnerships with DoorDash, Deliveroo’s parent company, in the United States and Australia, Deliveroo Riders will pick, pack and deliver orders directly from stores. It will be the only rapid delivery service available from a discount supermarket in the UK. Through the Deliveroo app, customers will be able to order around 2,000 Aldi products, including fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy, bread, household essentials and Specialbuys. Shoppers can order on-demand or choose a delivery window that suits them, with orders delivered straight to their door. Aldi products on the Deliveroo app will be priced lower than any other supermarket offering rapid delivery. The service is being trialled across eight stores from Tuesday, October 6. A nationwide launch is currently planned for early 2027. Giles Hurley, Chief Executive Officer at Aldi UK, said: “We've always been committed to bringing low prices to as many people as possible, and this partnership with Deliveroo allows us to do exactly that without changing how our stores operate. “The DoorDash model has been incredibly popular with Aldi customers in Australia and the United States, and we know from our previous trial there is clear demand for more affordable groceries on a rapid delivery platform in the UK.
