Brit 'missing in Benidorm with no passport or money' as wife issues urgent plea Geoff Cumiskey, from Workington, Cumbria, has disappeared in the Spanish holiday resort of Benidorm, according to an urgent appeal from his wife British man who has vanished in Benidorm without his passport and money, his family say. Geoff Cumiskey, from Workington, Cumbria, is understood to have missed his flight home from the Spanish holiday hotspot, with his wife Nikki Jane pleading for help. Nikki reported Geoff as missing on Wednesday and says the family is worried sick over what has happened to him. She revealed that her husband has lost his passport, has no luggage and has no money. "He was last seen wearing a white Everton top with 'Geoffers' on the back, navy midlength shorts, light blue adidas shoes, and a blue Benidorm cap," she wrote on Facebook. "If you can help please get in touch." It is believed he went back to the apartment he was staying in to find his passport and since then, there has been no update from Benidorm – with Nikki now involving the police. She said local authorities are now liaising with Interpol to try and find him. She is urging expats and Brits living in Spain to come forward with any information they may have. Nikki said: “Reaching out to anyone who may be in Benidorm at the minute, or who knows someone who is there. "My husband Geoff Cumiskey is alone in Benidorm, has lost his passport, has no luggage, and no money. (...) his phone has died, and we are all worried about him and can’t get in touch with him. “This has been reported to the police, who are liaising with Interpol to try and locate him. In the meantime, I am hoping that there is someone I know in Benidorm at the moment who may be able to help locate him. If you can help please get in touch.” Her appeal has been posted on Facebook groups in Spain with several people sharing the information. The Mirror has contacted the Guardia Civil, Interpol and the Foreign Office for comment.
