Emergency services were called to Golden Mile Road near Dysart, about 250 kilometres south-west of Mackay, about 9am after a vehicle left the road and rolled. A one-year-old girl died at the scene. The driver, a 22-year-old Moranbah woman, sustained minor injuries and a five-month-old boy suffered serious injuries. Queensland Ambulance Service transported the pair to Dysart Hospital before they were flown to Mackay by helicopter. The forensic crash unit is investigating and police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
