Log in Armed police are responding to a shooting in a residential area of southwest Sydney, where officers say a man was shot shortly after midday on Tuesday. A 32-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to hospital for further treatment. The incident took place at about 12.40pm in the Charles Street in Liverpool, with authorities establishing a crime scene. The investigators are looking into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and have sought community support, asking witnesses to come forward with any information, or CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage of the incident.
