A powerful nor’easter has exposed weathered wooden beams on Nantucket’s southern shore, possibly revealing the remains of a 19th-century shipwreck. Maritime experts from the Egan Maritime Institute are examining the wreckage and will work with state underwater archaeologists to identify the vessel. Missing Australian human rights activist charged in Vietnam
Melbourne resident Hiep Tran and his Norwegian-Vietnamese colleague Duc Thuan Nguyen were feared missing after flying to Cambodia almost two weeks ago. Vietnamese authorities have charged the pair, and another man, with planning to carry out terrorist activities.
