Man taken to Geraldton hospital as police respond to 'serious incident' in Moonyoonooka A man in his 30s has been taken to Geraldton Regional Hospital in a serious condition following what police say is a "serious incident" just east of the town in Western Australia's Midwest. Police said early this morning they were responding to an incident in Moonyoonooka on the outskirts of Geraldton, more than 400 kilometres north of Perth. Significant police resources had been deployed to the area, they said. St John WA said they were called to the area around 1am. "St John WA has taken a man in his 30s to Geraldton Hospital from an incident in this location," a spokesperson said. Witnesses have reported seeing police tactical response vehicles heading north towards the area, which includes the local airport and speedway.
