Tyson Fury accuses Anthony Joshua of trying to CANCEL box-office fight for petty reason Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are set to clash in Cardiff in mid-December and the pair have had their first chance to face-off at their pre-fight press conference Tyson Fury has revealed that negotiations between him and Anthony Joshua almost put their historic fight in doubt - with the name an apparent sticking point. The pair are set to clash in a historic bout on December 11 in Cardiff. The fight will finally see the two come together after protracted talks. And despite the fight now being set in stone, the Gypsy King has suggested that even in the days leading up to Wednesday evening's press conference, Joshua's camp were still complaining. Joshua however hit back by claiming that he had received a phone call about the naming rights - with Fury's camp keen to get his name at the front, to which he repeatedly replied "b******". Fury said: "In the build-up to this fight, Eddie and AJ were talking about being the landlord and the boss, the governors. "When I look behind me, I only see one Don and that's Fury vs AJ. Now you've come to get the rent and I ain't f****** paying, because I'm number one. We're going to walk out seeing Tyson Fury versus his opponent Anthony Joshua - an old dosser who works for me." Asked by Joshua why he takes the things that Hearn says personally, Fury replied: "I don't take it personally. Eddie Hearn is a sausage." He added: "You've been crying behind the scenes to get out of this fight. I've checkmated you. You have to fight. I've said I'll fight anywhere. I've actually never won a world title here [in the UK]. Now it's on the line, we can become a three-time." Despite calling out Joshua and his camp, Fury has however claimed that he would be happy to share a pint with the pair following their titanic clash. He added: "GK is number one and you don't own anything. I'm the boss. I would have a beer with Eddie right now. The man is a good promoter and manager but I don't like his crying. "Have I ever been rude to Eddie? I would go for a beer with you today. Same for you AJ. I hope we can have a pint of Guinness together after this fight." The pair however did have a slight disagreement when it comes to a sparring session between them in 2010. On that incident, Fury said: "I've sparred a lot of amateur boxers in my time. AJ was in that ring; he knows what happened. There was a Rolex watch thing too." Joshua responded: "He left the ring with a black eye as well. He left with a Rolex but he had a black eye." He added: "I can't remember it. It was so many years ago. He spoke about it, it wasn't me. It was just another day. He went online and spoke to Steve Bunce about the experience. Sparring is meant to be kept in the gym." The pair then had the first chance to face-off ahead of their fight, albeit the occasion appeared to be somewhat respectful between both Fury and Joshua.
