One of the highlights of her medical school years was her elective in the Gambia.After her GP training Jane worked as a GP partner in Reading, and in 2003 she moved to Suffolk and worked at the Hadleigh Boxford Group Practice. Throughout her career Jane was active in GP trainee education and mentorship and became associate dean in the GP School of Suffolk and North East Essex, holding this role at the time of her diagnosis of glioblastoma in August 2025.Jane is particularly remembered for her generous nature, her infectious joy for life, and her dedication to her family and the GP trainees she mentored.
