Man stabbed ex-girlfriend's former partner after threatening to 'kill him over and over' Aaron Law Glindon, from Trafford, continued to live in his ex-girlfriend's house after they'd split up and launched a savage attack on another one of the woman's former partners A man told his ex-girlfriend's former partner he was going to "kill him over and over again" as he chased him with a knife before stabbing him - but he was sparred an immediate jail sentence. Aaron Law-Glindon, 28, had split with the woman in February 2024 but they continued to live together at her home. Another of the woman's ex-boyfriends was visiting in September the same year when Law-Glindon savagely attacked the man, stabbing him in the chest. The incident happened on September 9, 2024, when the woman and her former partner were chatting in the living room as Law-Glindon arrived to the house unannounced. Manchester Crown Court heard the defendant came "straight in through the front door and came straight towards" the victim. Law-Glindon then began punching the man in the head, "telling him he was going to kill him over and over again". The victim then managed to push the attacker onto the sofa to get away. The woman shouted at Law-Glindon to stop before he went to the front door and locked it. Afterwards, he went to the kitchen, which gave the woman and the male victim the change to escape into the front garden. But Law-Glindon followed the pair with a knife, with the woman describing the blade as "one of the biggest" she had in the kitchen. When the woman threatened to call the police, the 28-year-old fled the scene. The victim, in a statement, said he has been left with lasting chest pain and paranoia. Law-Glindon initially told officers his victim was the aggressor and denied picking up a knife, Manchester Evening News reports. Thomas Sherrington, defending, said Law-Glindon, who admitted one charge of wounding, used to do drugs, but has since stopped. He has had a "long period of reflection", the court heard. Law-Glindon's new partner is "anti-offending", Mr Sherrington added. He has a new job at a paper company, he said, telling the judge: "He has proved to the court that he can be rehabilitated. "He has a stable job and has stayed out of trouble. His partner is keeping him on the straight and narrow." Law-Glindon, of Hayfield Walk, was handed a 20-month term, suspended for three years. The offender, from Timperley, Trafford, was also told to abide by a two-year probation requirement and ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work. Recorder Imran Shafi KC told him: "Your actions that day were absolutely disgraceful. You behaved like an animal, which is doing a disservice to most animals." Following the hearing, Law-Glindon - who has dice tattooed on his hand - was pictured holding a lottery scratch card after escaping an immediate prison sentence.
