This Dyson vacuum is at its lowest price ever ahead of fall Prime Day

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days doesn’t start until tomorrow, but one of the sale’s best vacuum deals is already live. The Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum is down to $270, which is 31 percent off and the lowest price it has ever been. If you’ve been waiting for a Dyson to drop below $300, you may want to move on this quickly, as it is not likely to last. Deal of the day The V8 is Dyson’s most affordable cordless vacuum, but that doesn’t mean it skimps on cleaning power. In fact, one shopper says it is “by far the best vacuum” they have ever used. It runs for up to 40 minutes on a single charge and has two power modes, so you can switch to stronger suction for stubborn messes. The brand’s signature motorbar cleaner head works on both carpet and hard floors, and it detangles hair wrapped around the brush bar as you clean. The vacuum’s filtration system also traps 99.99% of fine dust particles as small as 0.3 microns, according to the brand. At about 5.6 pounds, the V8 is light enough to carry up and down stairs, and it converts to a handheld for cleaning cars, stairs and upholstery. It comes with two attachments for tight spots, and you empty the bin by pulling a lever, so you never have to touch the debris. It is currently on sale for 31 percent off, bringing it down to its lowest price ever. Why this sale is worth it - Lowest price ever - Two power modes - Works on carpet and hardwood floors Want more from NBC Selected? Sign up for our newsletter, The Selection, and shop smarter.
