Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly 'not on the same page' over a crucial element of their UK return, according to a source.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are getting back into the swing of British life following their move back from Montecito, California, in late August. However, their move has been far from seamless after a row over their royal titles and security worries forced the couple to change their children's school after just two days.
Now the Sussexes face another difficult decision, Heat reports. The magazine claims the pair are at odds over their Christmas plans, with a source saying: "With the kids in school, they can't keep bouncing between California and the UK whenever they feel like it, so they've got some difficult decisions coming up because they are not on the same page."
Harry is reportedly eager to keep the family based in the UK for the festive season, with the source describing the period as one of his most cherished times of year. In contrast, Meghan is said to be experiencing homesickness and is longing to reunite with her mother, Doria Ragland.
"[Meghan] misses her friends, she misses her day-to-day routine and she really misses her mom," the source continued. "She talks to Doria every day, usually multiple times but it's not the same as spending every weekend with her."
Meghan is also allegedly reluctant to spend Christmas 'making small talk' with the Royal family, and is reportedly discouraged by the prospect of holding out for a Sandringham invitation that may never materialise. Despite the Christmas controversy, Meghan seems to be relishing her return to British life.
She shared a video in September of Archie and Lilibet frolicking in the woods and fishing with Harry on a boat, accompanied by a love heart and union jack emoji.
The pair were finally seen in public earlier this week at The Falkland Arms pub in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, which is believed to be near where the family are currently living.
